Useful reviews start with what happened

Keep it personal, relevant and original

Explain what you used, what went well or poorly, and how the situation ended. Disclose an employment, ownership or other material connection to the business. Your rating should reflect your experience rather than a promotion or incentive.

We do not accept invented experiences, copied material, paid or incentivized reviews, impersonation or advertisements disguised as feedback. Omit booking references, passwords, payment information, security codes and anyone else's private details.

Every submission begins in moderation

Reviews are held privately until a moderator approves publication. We may decline or remove spam, duplicates, promotional content, threats, unlawful material, private information and accounts that do not concern the listed company.

A negative opinion is not itself a reason to remove a review. The same rules apply to favorable and unfavorable accounts. Moderation checks suitability for publication; it does not verify a purchase or establish the truth of every claim.

One email address can be associated with one review of each company. A repeat submission does not overwrite an earlier review. Contact the publisher if you need help correcting the original.

Publication and the community score

Published reviews show the selected display name, title, text, rating, submission date and date of experience. The email address stays private. Newer submissions appear before older ones, even when their experience dates differ.

The score for a company is the arithmetic mean of its published review ratings. Pending and rejected entries are excluded. A company with no published reviews has no community score, and ratings from other websites are kept separate.

Concerns, corrections and permission to publish

Report a review if you can identify a specific concern under these rules. For a request about your own contribution, contact the publisher using the email address supplied with it and identify the relevant company. We may need reasonable information to confirm that the request is yours.

You retain rights in your original writing. By submitting it, you permit the publisher to store, display and moderate it for the guide on a non-exclusive basis. A review does not open a complaint or service request with the listed business.
